Preparation of highly labeled hemagglutinating virus of japan in de embryonated eggs

, : Preparation of highly labeled hemagglutinating virus of japan in de embryonated eggs. Japanese Journal of Microbiology 20(4): 361-364

A procedure for the radiolabeling of hemagglutinating virus of Japan and influenza A2 virions is presented that utilizes deembryonated chicken eggs. Conditions for labeling, virus yields and specific activities of purified virions in this system are summarized.
