.kappa.- and minor .alpha.s-caseins were separated from the other casein components by electrostatic-affinity chromatography on cation-exchanging columns. Their content in whole casein was estimated as 10.8% and 8.4%, respectively. [.kappa.-Carrageenan from Eucheuma cottonii was used.].
