Preparation of polytene chromosomes from isolated cell nuclei of drosophila salivary glands


, : Preparation of polytene chromosomes from isolated cell nuclei of drosophila salivary glands. Tsitologiya 18(11): 1399-1400

A method is proposed for preparation of polytene chromosomes free of cytoplasmic substance. The nuclei are isolated using triton X-100 and squashed in 60% propionic acid solution.
