Preparation of pure serine proteinase from a culture fluid filtrate

, : Preparation of pure serine proteinase from a culture fluid filtrate. Biotekhnologiya (1): 51-56

Serine proteinase was isolated from the filtrate of the culture fluid of Bacillus subtilis. The procedure of preparation purification involved ion-exchange chromatography on anion- and cation-exchange resins and ultrafiltration. Specific activity of the resultant preparation was 5 times higher than of the starting filtrate as calculated per protein. The activity yield was 60%.
