Primary structure of bombyx mori posterior silk gland phenyl alanine transfer rna

Phenylalanine tRNA was isolated from posterior silk gland from B. mori and hydrolyzed to mixtures of oligonucleotides. [32P] 5' end labeling of the oligonucleotides and sequence study indicates that the major component of B. mori tRNAPhe is similar to mammalian tRNAPhe, the minor component differing from the major one by only 1 nucleotide.
