Abstract
Some biological indices of the female sturgeons of the river Lena were studied, characterizing their reproductive capacity, such as weight, age, absolute and relative fecundity and egg weight. All of these indices were closely interrelated. Absolute fertility and egg weight are positively correlated with the weight and age of the female, while a reliable negative correlation was discovered between relative fecundity and age, as well as between absolute fertility and egg weight.
