, : Recent examination procedures in the diagnosis of diseases of the external pancreas. Ceskoslovenska Gastroenterologie A Vyziva 36(1): 31-38

Ultrasonography, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, computed tomography and comprehensive functional scintigraphy of the pancreas are the more recent examination procedures in the diagnosis of pancreatic disease. It is necessary to use as a basis, the basic examinations which also include the pancreozymin-secretin test. The evaluation of further examination methods depends on the difficulties of diagnosis and also on the discomfort caused by various methods.
