Recent gley processes in soils of ukrainian ciscarpathians ussr

, : Recent gley processes in soils of ukrainian ciscarpathians ussr. Pochvovedenie (10): 45-54

In brownish-podzolic surface-gleyic soils (pseudopodzols) the level of the top water reaches the upper horizon 2-3 times in 10 yr. Recent gley processes are locally taking place there. The formation of bleached eluvial horizons in the soils is due to sporadic gleyzation followed by washing out and segregation of Fe.

The objective was to investigate the compensatory growth efficiency as well on different fatting and carcass parameters as on body composition of growing pigs. The study was carried out with 21 castrated male pigs (Duroc times DL) which were indiv...

In this theoretical study, the effect of a 6-trait selection index (incorporating milk yield, daily gain of bulls, body weight of cows, dry matter intake, and feed conversion for milk and meat) on emissions from a cattle population was estimated....

This study was to investigate the relationship between pretreatment nutritional status and prognosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).Pretreatment nutritional status was evaluated by ideal body weight percentile (IBW %) and serum albumin for 512...

Effect of colchicine on microtubules was studied in mammary epithelial cells treated both in vivo and in vitro with the alkaloid. Three hours after the intramammary infusion of colchicine, secretory activity of mammary epithelia ceased, milk const...
