Abstract
A. phyciodoides Barnes et Benjamin was previously known only from the holotype and allotype, which were taken in the Chiricahua Mountains of Arizona [USA]. These probably were captured by O. C. Poling, possibly in 1915. During 1978, 1979 and 1980, .apprx. 50 specimens were taken from 4 major drainages on both sides of the continental divide in the Mexican states of Chihuahua and Sonora. Specimens were recorded in the months of April, June, Aug. and Sept.
