Regulation of expression of ade1 and ade2 genes of yeast saccharomyces cerevisiae under conditions of amino acid deficiency

Regulation of expression of ade1 and ade2 genes of yeast saccharomyces cerevisiae under conditions of amino acid deficiency

Mikrobiologicheskii Zhurnal (Kiev) 50(2): 84-85

The activities of two yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae purine nucleotide biosynthesis enzymes encoded by the ADE1 and ADE2 genes are increased under conditions of amino acid deficiency. Expression of the genes mentioned is regulated by the general amino acid control system.
