Reproducibility of some parameters of 1 dimensional echocardiography sectoral scanning and tetrapolar chest rheoplethysmography

Reproducibility of some parameters of 1 dimensional echocardiography sectoral scanning and tetrapolar chest rheoplethysmography

Kardiologiya 25(4): 58-60

The reproducibility of a number of echocardiographic and tetrapolar-rheoplethysmographic parameters was checked at a 1-h interval in 26 coronary patients, and at a 1-day interval in 54 patients. Left-ventricular diastolic diameter and stroke volume, as determined by the method of Rasmussen et al., and mean rates of closure of the anterior cusp of the mitral valve and myocardial fiber circular shortening showed the best reproducibility. Some parameters measured using this technique showed a natural, but insignificant, change over the study period; respiration slightly affected the diastolic diameter of the left ventricle.
