Reproduction and development of clarias gariepinus clariidae of lake manzala egypt/

Voprosy Ikhtiologii 23(6): 941-950

Data were presented on the structure of eggs and nature of spawning of C. gariepinus, as well as on its embryonal and larval developmental periods. The development of C. gariepinus is identical to that of Siluridae species, which makes it possible to classify C. gariepinus with the phytophilic group of sheatfishes.
