Reproduction and population dynamics of red backed vole clethrionomys rufocanus bedfordiae

Reproduction and population dynamics of red backed vole clethrionomys rufocanus bedfordiae

Bulletin for the Forestry & Forest Products Research Institute (327): 1-82

Age composition, reproduction and population dynamics were studied in C. r. bedfordiae in forest and grassland habitats. Age determination was made on the basis of dentition and reproductive stages determined by reproductive organ weight. The breeding season and population cycles are discussed including time of birth, growth and sexual maturity in juveniles and subadults.
