The paper deals with research concerning the pollution of agricultural soils from the Danube Delta with herbicide residues. The experimental results evidenced the presence in soil of Atrazine, Propazine, Simazine, Terbutilazine, Prometrine and Trifluraline residues as a result of the use of Pitezin, Gesaprim. Gardoprim, Gesagard and Triflurom and the absence of Metribuzine residues in spite of the treatment with Sencor.
