Response of soybean glycine max cultivar j.s. 2 to sulfur and phosphorus

Response of soybean glycine max cultivar j.s. 2 to sulfur and phosphorus

Journal of the Indian Society of Soil Science 28(2): 189-192

In a pot culture experiment, response of soybean (G. max cv. J.S. 2) to the application of S and P was studied at different stages of growth in a S and P deficient black soil of Madhya Pradesh [India]. Both S and P significantly increased the dry matter yield and S and P content in soybean. Maximum yield of soybean was observed with 25 ppm S and 80 ppm P2O5 treatment.
