Scanning electron microscopy and resin histology of large bowel biopsies
The mucosal surface of human colon in 18 adults and children was examined by scanning electron microscopy with subsequent resin histology and transmission electron microscopy of the same specimen. This technique contributed useful information on the mucosa in health and in disease.
