Twenty-one hospitalized patients with active chronic psoriasis demonstrated that 30 min treatment with 0.1 and 0.2% dithranol in a 17% urea cream base (Psoradrate), and 1 and 2% dithranol petrolatum were equally effective. Psoradrate showed less side-effects. Patients expressed a preference for retreatment with Psoradrate.
