, : Simultaneous analysis of bases nucleosides and nucleotides by high performance liquid chromatography. Revue Roumaine de Biochimie 21(3): 199-206

A high performance liquid chromatography procedure, using a reverse phase column (ALTEX, Spherogel-ODS) was developed for the separation, identification and quantification of purine and pyrimidine bases, nucleosides and nucleotides. The retention times, as well as the regression equations employed for the quantification of 16 bases, nucleosides and nucleotides were reported. The developed procedure was used for the analysis of the mixtures resulted from the hydrolysis of DNA methylated with dimethylsulfate.
