Solution kinetics of free humic acids and calcium bound humic acids in the a 1 horizon of chernozems and soddy podzolic soils

Solution kinetics of free humic acids and calcium bound humic acids in the a 1 horizon of chernozems and soddy podzolic soils

Pochvovedenie (2): 129-130

The solution kinetics of humic acids were studied using the A-1 horizon of soddy-weakly- and medium-podzolic virgin soils with a clayey- and medium-loamy granulometric composition. Also used were arable podzolized, leached, medium-humic, clayey loamy chernozems that were of typical medium-thickness. A 0.2 N. NaOH solution in 5% NaCl was used as solvent. Free humic acids in the A-1 horizon of chernozems are bound with Ca-stabilized humic acids, while free humic acids in the A-1 horizon of soddy-podzolic soils may be bound directly to the mineral component.
