Specifics of thermo regulatory and loco motor activity of the dog skeletal muscles in early post natal period

, : Specifics of thermo regulatory and loco motor activity of the dog skeletal muscles in early post natal period. Fiziologicheskii Zhurnal SSSR Imeni I M Sechenova 67(11): 1722-1730

During postnatal ontogenesis, in adaptation to new ambient conditions (hypothermia) and in learning upright posture and locomotions, forms of functioning present at the previous stages recur. After termination of the adaptation these forms are lost and new interrelationships between the organism and milieu are established.

ATPase activity of actomyosin and activity of glycogenolytic enzymes were distinctly increased during rat postnatal period of development. Direct correlation was observed between the actomyosin ATPase and phosphofructokinase, phosphohexoisomerase,...

Reiter, L., 1977: Behavioral toxicology effects of early post natal exposure to neuro toxins on development of loco motor activity in the rat. Early postnatal treatment with various neurotoxins may produced behavioral alterations which are manifested only during certain periods of development. Results are presented on locomotor activity following Pb or mirex administration which indicate...

Sea ravens, H. americanus, were tested individually for 3 day periods in electronic shuttleboxes to measure their preferred and avoided temperatures, diel activity pattern and relationship of activity to temperature. The fish avoided temperatures...

Larionov, N.P.; Krotenko, N.M., 1976: Glycolytic activity in the skeletal muscle of the rat in the early post natal period of development. The glycolytic and glycolytic enzyme activities (except hexokinase) increased in developing rat skeletal muscle up to 20 days after birth. This was the period when tetanic contraction type followed the tonic one. During postnatal development the a...

In the early postnatal period, the specific activity of the native actomyosin did not increase steadily as was described earlier, but followed biphasic dynamics. By the end of the 3rd day when fibrillar proteins were intensely synthesized, the spe...
