Spectra of keratins in exuviae of snakes

, : Spectra of keratins in exuviae of snakes. Biologia (Bratislava) 31(2): 115-117

The spectra of keratins in exuviae of 3 spp of the genus Python (Python bivittatus, P. sebae and P. reticulatus) and 1 sp. of the colubra snake (Coronella austriaca) were studied by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. There was a suggestion to use these proteinaceous spectra as an auxiliary criterium for evaluation of relationship in animals.
