, : Spectral analysis of the bili proteins from gracilaria verrucosa gigartinales florideophyceae. Photosynthetica (Prague) 16(2): 184-190

Several crude biliprotein extracts from G. verrucosa were analyzed at different levels of purification by a spectral analysis computer program. The absorption bands of each biliprotein were characterized by pure Gaussian curves. The total crude extract was duplicated by 7 components. Four of them (wavelengths 497, 498, 543 and 568 nm) characterized the R-phycoerythrin, while the R-phycocyanin and the allophycocyanin absorption regions were characterized by 3 Gaussian curves (553, 613 and 654 nm).
