Spectral parameters of the interaction of various ligands with lm 2 and lm 4 forms of highly purified cytochrome p 450

, : Spectral parameters of the interaction of various ligands with lm 2 and lm 4 forms of highly purified cytochrome p 450. Bioorganicheskaya Khimiya 6(5): 757-764

The interaction of various ligands with highly purified LM2 and LM4 forms of [rat liver] cytochrome P-450 was studied by difference spectrophotometry. The Kd were determined for type I ligands (benzene, naphthalene, cyclohexane, dimethylaniline) as well as for type II (aniline, pyridine, imidazole) and modified type II ligands (ethanol, isopropanol). The results obtained were discussed from the viewpoint of ligand action on the spin equilibrium of the cytochrome P-450 forms. The models of high and low spin forms of cytochrome P-450 LM4 in free state and in ligand-bound complexes were proposed.
