Spectral quality of light and morphogenesis of the thallus of draparnaldia mutabilis chlorophyceae

The growth of D. mutabilis (Roth) Cederg thallus is better if the thallus accumulates photosynthetic pigments in the spectral zone of 576 nm and 685 nm, and carotenoid pigments at 576 nm, 685 nm and 476 nm. At 685 nm, the role of phytochrome is discussed. The importance of yellow radiations is stressed.
