Speonomus tincatincenis new species and speonomus saforensis new species of bathysciinae coleoptera catopidae from the pallars lleida spain

, : Speonomus tincatincenis new species and speonomus saforensis new species of bathysciinae coleoptera catopidae from the pallars lleida spain. Miscellania Zoologica (Barcelona) 9: 223-228

Two new species of Bathysciinae are described from the Catalan Prepyrenees. Speonomus tincatincensis n. sp., from a cave near Sort and whose taxonomic position is close to Speonomus pallaresanus Jeannel and S. latebricola Jeannel, lives together with S. akarsticus Escola, 1980. Speonomus saforensis n. sp. was discovered intending to clarify the pool of troglobite Bathyscinae that cohabit in some areas of the Serra de Lleras. Taxonomically it should be located in the vicinity of S. sanctigervasi Jeannel and perhaps S. ribagorzanus Jeannel.
