Data were presented on A. stellatus Pallas, linear weight and age composition within its feeding and growing area in the Caspian Sea in various seasons. The seasonal dynamics of the condition of fish with varying degrees of sexual glands maturity was determined. Changes that occurred in A. stellatus population structure under contemporary ecological conditions were described on the basis of an analysis of linear-age structure and the dynamics of relative population in the sea.
