Studies of the development of concentration of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus and apple stem grooving virus in apple trees

Studies of the development of concentration of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus and apple stem grooving virus in apple trees

Acta Phytopathologica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 17(1-2): 23-28

The results of the development of concentration of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus (CLSV) and apple stem grooving virus (SGV) in apple trees is presented. The values of extinction of ELISA [enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay] serve as measure for the relative virus concentration. Recommendations for taking samples for a reliable serological routine diagnosis are given. Translocation of SGV from petals and young leaves at the time of the natural forcing is presumed.
