Inheritance of several characters in rice at natural (Suweon [Korea]) and 20.degree. C cold water irrigated condition (Chuncheon) were studied with the F2 generation of partial diallel crosses using 7 parents. Partial dominance was exhibited by culm length, panicle length, number of panicle and grain fertility; over dominance was exhibited by flag leaf length and number of spikelet par panicle under cold water irrigated condition. Under natural condition, dominance was exhibited by culm length, flag leaf length and grain fertility, partial dominance was exhibited by number of panicle and number of spikelets per panicle, and over dominance was exhibited by panicle length.
