Synthesis of the docosa peptide corresponding to the amino acid sequence of ostrich type corticotropin like intermediate lobe peptide

Synthesis of the docosa peptide corresponding to the amino acid sequence of ostrich type corticotropin like intermediate lobe peptide

Chemical and Pharmaceutical Bulletin 29(4): 1088-1095

ISSN/ISBN: 0009-2363

The docosapeptide, H-Arg-Pro-Val-Lys-Val-Tyr-Pro-Asn-Gly-Val-Gln-Glu-Glu-Thr-Ser-Glu-Gly-Phe-Pro-Leu-Glu-Phe-OH, corresponding to positions 18 to 39 of ostrich ACTH (ostrich-type corticotropin-like intermediate lobe peptide) was synthesized, using 1 M trifluoromethanesulfonic acid-thioanisole in TFA [trifluoroacetic acid] as a deprotecting reagent.
