Museum species of the Xantholinus (spp.) from E Europe and middle Asia were examined. Xantholinus (Acanthophallus) hochhuthi, X. (s.str.) linearis rossicus, X. (Helicophallus) kirschenblati, X. (Helicophallus) coiffaitianus and the subgenera TETRALINUS and PARACYCLINUS are described as new. Old specimens are distinguished by a study of their endophallic tubes. A catalogue of the known specimens of the studied area and biogeographical notes of the examined specimens are included.
