Patients (3) mistakenly instilled cyanoacrylate adhesives into their eyes, resulting in firm upper-to-lower lid adhesion and transient keratoconjunctivitis. In 1 case, the tarsorrhaphy had to be undone with scissors. Adequate prevention of these accidents can be achieved only by changing the packaging of glues so that it will not resemble the containers used for ophthalmic medications.
