The chinese drugs of umbelliferae 5. chemical constituents of the roots of heracleum henryi
The dried roots of H. henryi Wolff were extracted with ether, and the extract chromatogaphed over alumina. Two known dihydropyranocoumarins and 2 known furanocoumarins were identified as turgeniifolin B, turgeniifolin C, bergapten and byakangelicin by melting points IR and PMR spectra. In addition, .gamma.-spinasterol was also separated.
