The chlorophyll a in the northwest pacific ocean

In this paper the distribution of the chlorophyll "a" concentration in the area of meridional section of 50 degrees longitude is represented. The section has been made for twenty days. The pattern of verical distribution of chlorophyll "a" in the different water masses is given. The highest values of chlorophyll "a" content were observed for the Subarctic waters and the lowest values were observed for North tropical waters.
