This atlas is a collection of paintings and drawings of various aspects of the [human] respiratory system. The text consists of 5 sections, written by the author in conjunction with numerous collaborators. Topics include anatomy and embryology; physiology; radiology; diseases and pathology; and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The text is extensively illustrated with color plates drawn by the author and also includes radiographs, selected references and subject index.
