The development of genotypical new formations in the hybridization of winter wheats with spring wheats

Sel'skokhozyaistvennaya Biologiya 10(6): 820-823

The factor of formation processes in hybrid populations obtained as a result of the hybridization of winter wheats with spring wheats was studied. Transgressive variability in the manifestation of hybrid necrosis, dwarfness, form of caryopses, length of stem and the duration of the seedling-heading stage were observed. The possibility of using the new formations in wheat breeding is indicated and the relation of their heritability with other properties is discussed.
