We present an authorized translation on the "Diagnostic Interview for Borderlines (DIB)", developed by Gunderson and Kolb. Analysing 30 interviews with patients with the clinical diagnosis borderline disorder we looked at the inner structure of the interview, its reliability (internal consistency) and validity. We come to suggest to prefer a rating in groups and discuss this suggestion.
