Abstract
The ecology of the midday gerbil was investigated in E-JI-NA county of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from June-Nov. 1980. The midday gerbil is a dominant species in the desert of the temperate zone. Its tunnel structure, activity cycles, breeding period and omnivorous diet are discussed.
