The elimination of drugs into saliva

, : The elimination of drugs into saliva. Farmaceuticky Obzor 53(1): 27-31

The elimination of drugs into saliva has been extensively studied during the past years. Some modes of elimination of drugs into saliva are given. The advantage and disadvantage of determination of drug level in saliva against plasma and the examples of theoretical monitoring by the determination of drug level in saliva are also discussed. The problem of elimination of drugs into saliva is concentrated for the time being on a few drugs and therefore it is impossible now to draw final conclusions concerning other drugs.
