The emarginulinae mollusca gastropoda fissurellidae of southern africa and mozambique

, : The emarginulinae mollusca gastropoda fissurellidae of southern africa and mozambique. Annals of the Natal Museum 23(2): 431-454

The genera Emarginula, Emarginella, Zeidora, Puncturella, Tugali and Scutus are discussed, and inadequately known species redescribed. Emarginula connelli, E. macclurgi, E. koon, E. thorektes and Puncturella christiaensi are new species. New synonymy was established for Emarginula pulchreclathrata Tomlin, 1932 = E. agulhasensis Thiele, 1925. A new combination Emarginella oppressa (Barnard, 1963), (ex Emarginula) was presented. New records are: Emarginula tenuicostata Adams et Sowerby, 1866, from northern Mozambique; Emarginella sibogae (Schepman, 1908) from Natal and southern Mozambique.
