The distribution of RISA [131I-human serum albumin] in various tissues and tumor in NF sarcoma bearing mice and tumor scanning in rabbits implanted with Brown-Pearce tumor, myxoma virus tumor and fibroma virus tumor was studied. Tumor scanning should be performed 48 h after administration of RISA, when the activity in tumors was greater than in blood. RISA has the possibility to be a tumor scanning agent.
