Collecting data are reported for 54 spp. of Tabanidae from Kentucky [USA], including 13 new state records [Chrysops upsilon Philip, Tabanus gladiator Stone, T. mularis Stone, T. nigripes Wiedemann, T. pallidescens Philip, T. proximas Walker, T. pumilus macquart, T. sagax Osten Sacken, T. Sublongus Stone, T. venustus Osten Sacken, T. wilsoni Pechuman, Hybomitra cincta (Fabricius) and H. sodalis]. The revised checklist is ordered according to Stone et al. (1965), A Catalog of the Diptera of America North of Mexico.
