Descriptions are given of the nymphs of 20 spp. (75 nymphal instars) of SW Australian Lygaeidae [Lepionysius grossi Ashlock, Ontiscus obscurus Scudder, O. brevipilis Scudder, Cymodema basicornis (Motschulsky), Darwinocoris australicus Slater, Stenophyella macreta Horvath, Fontejus westraliensis Gross, F. sidnicus (Stal), Fontejus sp., Euander lacertosus (Erichson), E. multicoloratus (Distant), Porander scudderi Gross, Udeocoris scudderi Gross, U. nigroaeneus (Erichson), U. rolandi (Distant), Coleocoris ocellatus Gross, Noteolethaeus armstrongi Woodwart et Slater, Myocara sp. nr acuminatum (Dallas), Isopeltus australis (Bergroth) and Botocudo sp. nr ornatulus (Bergroth)] together with descriptions of the eggs of 8 spp. A key is given to separate the 5th instar nymphs and a discussion of characters that should prove valuable in the recognition of nymphs from the area that are not yet associated with adults. Dorsal views are given of the nymphs of 8 spp.
