The influence of worm compost on soil fertility and vegetable crops cabbage leek and sorghum hybrid yield

On the base of the results from one-year investigation, the fertilizer influence (mineral, wormscompost and sheep manure) on soil fertility, vegetable yield (cabbage, leek) and sorghum hybrid, it could be concluded that: After growing and harvesting, on the soil fertilized with wormscompost and other investigated fertilizers, the content of carbonate, humus phosphorus and potassium was much higher in relation with the content on beginning. The yield of cabbage dry matter was higher from 1-66% after the application of 4, 6 and 8 kg/m2 wormscompost. After the application of 8 kg/m2 of wormscompost and sheep manure, there was the same yield. The growing of leek only in wormscompost make possible to plants to produce significant higher yield of dry matter in relation to yield with mineral fertilizers. The fertilization of sorghum hybrid with organic fertilizers affected production of significant less yield of dry matter in comparison with yield when mineral fertilizers were applied. We suggest sorghum hybrid fetilising with wormscompost and mineral fertilizers.
