The borehole Malesovice HV-102 is the fourth locality of carbonized seeds and fruits in the Lower Miocene of Moravia. The flora is characterizing a brown coal bog (Potamogeton, Sparganium, Cladiocarya, Rubus, Eurya, Sambucus, Selaginella). Only the genera Schizandra, Sinomenium and Staphylea probably did not grow in these marshy forests.
