Lymphatic drainage of the stomach was studied as based on 132 dissections, 210 cases of gastric carcinomas, 8 lymphographies and 20 identifications of nodes by vital staining dye during surgical treatment. The Rouviere theory must be amended. Results in the dead are highly dependent on the technique of injection, and study on the living is absolutely necessary.
