The grape Vitis vinifera varieties 'Villard Blanc' and 28/86 especially showed high resistance to frost. Variety fertility in conjunction with average berry weight and the [metric tons] weight indicated high productive potential, particularly in 'Roucaneuf' (17.9 [metric tons]/ha), '28/86 and 'Villard Blanc'. Sugar accumulation ranged 180-190 g/l, it was 198 g/l in 'Villard Blanc.' The alcohol content of the wines was 8.5-11.5%. High phenolic contents were found in 18402 and Garonet, low constant in 'Villard Noir'. A high productive potential and technological properties superior to those of the old direct-productive hybrids were found in 'Villard Blanc' and '12303' for white wines, and 'Garonet', '18402' and '28/86' for red wines.
