The metazoan parasites of 2 species of fish from the port cartier sept iles park quebec canada

Esox lucius [39] and 39 Salvelinus fontinalis were collected, at 3 sites in the Port-Cartier-Sept-iles Park area, Quebec [Canada] in 1975 and 1976, and examined for metazoan [gastronintestinal] parasites [E. lucius was infected by Triaenophorus crassus, Protocephalus sp., P. pinguis and Raphidascaris canadensis, S. fontinalis was infected by Brachyphallus crenatus, Crepidostomum farinis, Protocephalus sp., Metabronema solvelini and Metachinorhynchus lateralis.] The prevalence and intensity of infection of each parasite species found was given.
