The pressure of body mass upon the seat with angles of inclination +5.degree., 0.degree. and -5.degree. was studied on a laboratory designed operator's working seat. The body exerted a more evenly distributed pressure upon the different zones of the seat surface with an angle of -5.degree. A standard regulation of the angle of the inclination for the seat of working chairs was recommended within the range from +5.degree.-15.degree., on the basis of the results and literature data.
