The results obtained and the reference data indicate that an complete systematization of human menorheal disturbances of hypothalamic origin based on gonadotropin determination and on the luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone test is not possible. Such investigations have great diagnostic value and may be helpful in therapy of hypothalamic syndromes.
