The reaction of wheat triticum aestivum and triticale triticosecale cultivars to common root rot

The reaction of wheat triticum aestivum and triticale triticosecale cultivars to common root rot

Fitopatologia Brasileira 5(3): 369-372

The reaction of 59 wheat and 3 triticale cultivars to common root rot caused mainly by Cochliobolus sativus was tested. Most plants showed severely infected roots with a brown discoloration, indicating that none of the cultivars were resistant to the disease.
